Beginning in Rome in 1978, the WAS has sponsored international congresses every two years, attracting thousands of participants from around the world. The 19th World Congress of Sexual Health and sexual rights was held in Goteborg, Sweden in June of 2009. The next Congress will be held in Glasgow, UK, June 11-16, 2011. http://www.kenes.com/
